I understand seeing a new stylist for your curls can bring on the nerves. Thank you for considering me as you start your curl journey.  It is my priority to support you every step of the way.

What to expect

Pre- Visit

Appointment Notifications

Once you request your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email from my scheduling site Vagaro within 12 hours.  If for any reason the time or date you requested will not work, I will reach out to you personally via email ( email will come from hello@serenabeachcurls.com). You will start receiving your WELCOME GUIDE  via email within 24 hours of your appointment being confirmed.

Appointment Confirmation

48 hours before your appointment you will also receive an email and text reminder. Please reply to confirm your appointment.  It's super easy to do through the  email or text reminders sent 48 hours before your appointment.

The day before your appointment I will send you a form to select personalize your session. Please arrive with hair fully dry and washed within the last 24 hours. Please avoid using scrunchies, clips headbands or braids in your hair. 

​

​Communication
Have any questions? Feel free to send 'em my way! My main form of communication is text. It's the absolute best way to get a hold of me, especially when blow dryers are running. You can also send me an email. My  hours of communication are 8am-4pm Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday. All text messages and emails send on off days will be responded to during communication hours.

Arriving to the salon 

Parking is free right in front of the salon. When you are greeted by the receptionist of Salon Blissful, let them know you are seeing Serena. They will notify me that you have arrived. 

In the suite

Consultation

After showing you around the salon and suite,  we will start with a comprehensive consultation.  You'll have the opportunity to share your inspiration photos,  your lifestyle, maintenance preferences, review pricing and ask any questions you may have.

We will snag some before pictures and I'll give you some time to enjoy your selected refreshments before we start your session. 

​

Service

During your service, you can enjoy your time any way you like. We can chat it up or not, you can bring a laptop, or book.  This time is about you! Before your service ends, I will airdrop your style tutorial to you so you can revisit as many times as you'd like.  

​

Checkout

After your session is complete,  we will review your maintenance and home care plan. At this time you can purchase any products you'd like to continue your hair care routine at home. If you didn't enjoy a snack or drink during your session, feel free to take one home!

After Goodbye

Follow Up
 A detailed follow up email will hit your inbox by 6pm the day of your appointment. You'll then have access to the "Digital Client Lounge" where you'll find tutorials to continue to care for your curls until your next visit. 

Between Visits
I'll send you a reminder email when it is time to reserve your next appointment. A  styling, FAQ, product how to video \will hit your inbox each month but feel free to reach out via email anytime if you need some guidance.
